ON-LINE QUALIFYING EDUCATION

To obtain an apprentice permit you are required to complete the basic 150 hours of qualifying education (see classes listed under Licensed Residential)

In addition to Qualifying Education, there is a college requirement for a Licensed Residential Appraiser, Certified Residential Appraiser or Certified General Appraiser credential (see summary of licenses)

Individuals applying for an apprentice permit must submit to a state and federal criminal background check for the purpose of determining whether an applicant has been charged with, indicted for, or convicted of a crime that may have bearing upon the applicant’s fitness to hold a license. To obtain information for obtaining the required background check please go to the website www.identogo.com.
